6-cylinder V-shaped (V-6) used for a complete set of the considered models petrol engines are established cross in a forward part of the car and are equipped with system of electronic injection of fuel. Models from 1993 to 1994 the issue are completed with V6 engines of the VG30DE series which heads are equipped by one, having the top arrangement, the camshaft (SOHC), on models of later years of release VQ30DE series engines with two camshafts of the top situation (DOHC) in each of heads of cylinders are used.

Brake mechanisms of forward wheels have a disk design. Back wheels can be equipped as drum (models 1993 and 1994 of of the issue), and disk (models since 1995 with the issue) brake mechanisms. On models since 2000 diameters of lobbies and back brake cylinders are increased - by 2.3 mm and 4.2 mm respectively. At emergency brake application of ABS immediately becomes effective thanks to the Nissan Brake Assist system - the reliable mechanical system intended for strengthening of pressure upon a pedal. These two systems are added with the system of electronic distribution of brake effort distributing the maximum pressure in brake cylinders on each axis according to loading that significantly increases safety of emergency brake application.
Forward and side safety cushions for the driver and passengers are included in a basic equipment. They act in combination with the seat belts equipped with pyrotechnic natyazhitel with limiters. Natyazhiteli instantly pull a belt in case of frontal blow if instant delay exceeds the set limits, and limiters do not allow seat belts to put a trauma to the person.
All back seats have head restraints and three-basic seat belts, and two extreme place is taken by devices for installation of child seats like ISOFIX.
The active head restraints of front seats significantly reducing risk of traumatizing cervical vertebras are also included in a basic equipment. At blow behind they move forward up and forward. In finishing of salon only materials, resistant to ignition, are used.
Side mirrors with the electric drive and heating, an antiglare rear-view mirror, and also reinforced glasses with the ultra-violet filter and xenon forward headlights can be established.
On models since 2000 the anticreeping NATS system (Nissan Anti Theft System) of the fifth generation with an advanced immobilizer is installed. The uniform lock and the Superlock system are included in a basic equipment for all cars sold in Russia. The system of remote control of the lock with a "floating" code is in addition offered.
The car since 2000 is delivered with two ignition keys, each of which remembers personal settings of the owner. It means that each of drivers can use own settings of the audio system which will be automatically restored then. For this purpose it is only necessary to use the key and the audio system will automatically work, using the settings associated with this key. The forward xenon headlights new 15-or 16-inch light-alloy wheels are established. Luggage carrier of 520 l. The control of the audio system is duplicated by keys on a steering wheel. Inscriptions on an instrument guard are executed more in large print with use of new technology of fluorescent illumination of "Fine Vision". The conditioner is included into the list of the standard equipment on all models: manual on a complete set of SLX and automatic on SE complete set.
