All models are equipped with a forward suspension bracket of a design of McPherson. The top ends of racks are fixed in body support in a back part of mudguards of wheel arches, lower fasten to the top parts of assemblies of rotary fists. Rotary fists by means of spherical support are connected to the external ends of control levers of a suspension bracket. Spherical support are built in control levers and in case of wear change assembled with the last. The forward stabilizer of cross stability is included in a basic equipment of all models. The bar of the stabilizer fastens to a car frame by means of couple of collars and is connected to suspension bracket control levers by means of special racks.

In a back suspension bracket of models 1993 and 1994 of of the issue the rack-mount design which basis assemblies of shock-absorbers with screw springs complete with four cross and two longitudinal levers are is also used. The top ends of rack-mount assemblies are fixed on a car body, lower fasten to holders of stupichny assemblies. Holders are fixed horizontally by means of longitudinal levers. The bar of the back stabilizer of cross stability fastens to a car body two collars and is connected to suspension bracket racks by means of connecting drafts.

On models since 1995 the back suspension bracket is organized by the issue by means of not cutting bridge which is hung out by means of assemblies of telescopic shock-absorbers with screw springs and detached by longitudinal levers and a cross jet bar. By means of the cross jet bar which is freely rotating on the built-in rod of management, the bridge is connected to the car chassis.

All models are completed with the rack steering mechanism with the hydraulic amplifier. Assembly of the steering mechanism is located behind the power unit in the lower part of a back partition of a motive compartment and fastens to the lower cross beam. Rack transfer by means of couple of cross steering drafts is connected to rotary fists of the operated car wheels. The internal ends of steering drafts are equipped with rubber protective covers which condition and reliability of fastening should be checked periodically.

The system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel consists of the steering pump put in action by means of the belt drive and connecting lines. Liquid level in the tank of the steering pump has to be checked also regularly (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).

The steering wheel fastens on a steering column and by means of the steering shaft equipped with cardan hinges is connected to rack transfer. Wear of components of cardan hinges, rack transfer and tips of steering drafts, being summarized, determines the size of a side play of a steering wheel which should not exceed the limit of admissible range.

 The side play of a steering wheel can be caused also by weakening of fixture of components of the steering drive.


Often in the course of service of components of a suspension bracket and the steering drive it is necessary to face fixture resistant to an otdavaniye. By Prikipaniye of elements of fixture it is connected with the fact that they are constantly subject to external influences, are in contact with water, dirt, a soot and the other substances promoting corrosion development. For the purpose of simplification of the procedure of an otdavaniye of its such "stuck" fixture it is necessary to impregnate with plentiful amount of the getting oil beforehand. Cleaning of open carving parts of fixture a rigid wire brush also promotes simplification of an otdavaniye of the rusted nuts. Sometimes, in especially hard cases, for the otpuskaniye which "stuck" bolts/nuts it is possible to use a drift. The drift rests against the region a bolt nut/head vent, then sharp blows with the hammer are struck to its opposite end. You watch that the drift did not break, try not to damage inexact blows a carving. Quite effective way is also warming up of fixture resistant to an otdavaniye and a torch of the blowtorch or a gas torch surrounding it component surfaces though authors of this manual also do not recommend to resort without extreme need to such technology in view of its potential danger connected with a possibility of ignition and risk of receiving burns. Different extenders, collars and pipe nozzles on them are intended for increase in torque at an otpuskaniye of fixture. However, you remember that it is not necessary to use such intensifying devices complete with the drive equipped with "graggers" - the risk of failure of the ratchet mechanism is too high. Sometimes the "stuck" fixture begins to give in after previously slightly it is tightened clockwise. All fixture which otpuskaniye demanded application of extraordinary measures at assembly is subject to replacement!

 After an otdavaniye attentively check a condition of fixture and in case of need you make its replacement with elements of the same standard size. At assembly tighten elements of fixture of components of a suspension bracket and steering it is strict with the required effort.

 Do not make attempts of a rikhtovka of the deformed components of a suspension bracket and steering at all - replace defective parts new!


As procedures of service of components of a suspension bracket are performed under the car, it is necessary to think in advance of opportunities of lifting the vehicle and its fixing in the lifted situation (prepare a reliable jack and props).

 Do not perform any works under the car, the lifted situation fixed in only by means of a jack at all!
