Removal and installation of the fuel highway and injectors of injection

On models since 1995 service of injectors of injection of a forward number of cylinders can be made by the issue without removal of the top section of the inlet pipeline. Dismantle of the fuel highway is also not the obligatory requirement.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Dump pressure in a power supply system (see the Section Dropping Pressure in a power supply system).
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the equipment in action!

3. Remove the top section of the inlet pipeline (the delivery camera) (see the Part SOHC Engines or DOHC Engines of the Head Dvigatel).

4. Disconnect an electrical wiring from injection injectors.

5. For carrying out service of an injector(s) turn out screws of fastening of the fixing cap (ов) and take an injector(s) from assembly of the fuel highway. Estimate a condition of sealing rings of each of the removed injectors, replace defective rings. Before installation of injectors oil sealing rings liquid lubricating.

Do not use silicone lubricant for lubricant of rings at all, - it can lead to obstruction of injectors! Easy rotary progress put an injector(s) to the highway. Wipe and establish the fixing cap(s) and tighten fixing screws with the required effort.

6. For removal of the fuel highway disconnect from it lines of giving and return of fuel, then turn out fixing bolts (on two from each of the parties).

7. Slightly shaking assembly of the highway here and there, remove it assembled with injectors from the lower section of the inlet pipeline.

8. Installation is made upside-down. Pay attention to the next moments:

a) Do not forget to check a condition of insulators of support of the highway, replace defective components;
b) Having put insulators in the lower section of the inlet pipeline, slightly oil them lubricating.
