REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 Bolts of fastening of transmission have various length, are not interchangeable and at installation have to be rolled strictly on the former places.

1. Remove the battery with the pallet (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine).
2. Remove assembly of the air cleaner and the resonator of an inlet air path (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).
3. Disconnect an electrical wiring from electromagnetic valves of transmission, the RPM meter, the sensor switch of permission of starts/fires of a backing, VSS and, on models since 1995 of the issue, - the sensor of provision of a bent shaft (ICR). It will be reasonable to remove the sensor of ICR in order to avoid damage it during dismantle of transmission.
4. Disconnect the corresponding ventilating hoses.

5. Remove the left support of a suspension bracket of transmission.

6. Turn out the top bolts of fastening of transmission to the engine.
7. Remove a starter (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine).
8. Weaken wheel nuts, the car and install to a poddomkratta it on props. Remove wheels. Merge ATF (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
9. Pick up the directing phone of the probe of measurement of level of transmission liquid.

10. Disconnect lines of an oil refrigerant path.

11. Disconnect from transmission a driving cable of management of gear shifting (see the Section Check, adjustment and replacement of a cable of gear shifting).
12. Remove power shafts (see the Head Stsepleniye and power shafts).

13. Uncover access to the rotation converter.

14. Mark position of the converter of rotation in relation to a driving disk.

15. Turn out bolts of fastening of the converter of rotation.
16. Hang out the engine on the winch or a beam, or prop up it from below a jack (do not forget to enclose wooden whetstone for distribution of loading).
17. In a special way the equipped jack prop up transmission and fix it on a jack by safety chains.
18. Remove the central beam (see the Head Dvigatel).
19. Turn out fastening bolts to engine case pallet transmission. Turn out forward and a bolt of fastening of transmission to the engine and a back bolt of fastening of the engine to transmission.
20. Slightly lower transmission on a jack and last time make sure that nothing interferes with office it from the engine.
21. Shift a jack aside, removing assembly of a case of transmission from the directing pins. Track that the rotation converter did not drop out, - at once record it in the separated assembly. Lower a jack and take transmission from under the car.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make sure of reliability of fastening in rotation converter transmission. Measure distance from a bolted opening of the converter to the interfaced transmission surface, - it has to make not less than 19 mm on models of 1993 of the issue, 18 mm on models of 1994 of the issue, 14 mm on models from 1995 to 1997 of the issue and 19 mm on models since 1998 of the issue, otherwise turn the converter, at the same time pressing it in assembly, - the click has to sound.
2. Having recorded transmission assembly on a jack safety chains, start it on the regular place, - track that the rotation converter did not slip out (try not to incline assembly).
3. Press transmission to the engine, accurately putting on it reception openings the directing pins.
4. Achieve combination of landing tags on the converter of rotation and a driving disk.
5. Screw bolts of fastening of transmission and tighten them with the required effort.

6. Serially screw bolts of fastening of the converter of rotation to a driving disk, tighten them with the required effort. Establish into place a cover of access to the converter, strongly tighten its fixture.
7. Establish the central beam. Track reliability of tightening of fixture.
8. Establish the left support of a suspension bracket of transmission. Strongly tighten fixing bolts and nuts.
9. Remove the jacks which are propping up assemblies of transmission and the engine.
10. Establish into place the directing tube of the measuring probe.
11. Establish a starter (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine).
12. Connect a gear shifting drive cable (see the Section Check, adjustment and replacement of a cable of gear shifting).
13. Connect an electrical wiring to the corresponding electromagnetic valves and sensors.
14. Connect to transmission power shafts (see the Head Stsepleniye and power shafts).
15. Lower the car on the earth.
16. Fill in in transmission the necessary number of ATF of the required grade (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance). Make trial runs of the car, check the unit for existence of signs of development of leaks.
