REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The design of power shafts is presented on an illustration.
2. Take off a rim cap.
3. Take the forelock and remove the fixing nozzle and a felt washer from a stupichny nut.

4. By means of a face key with a long collar weaken a stupichny nut, but do not give it still finally.

 If the head of a key does not pass in an opening in the central part of a wheel, remove the last and temporarily install instead of it the spare wheel.

5. Weaken nuts of fastening of the corresponding forward wheel. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Remove a wheel.

6. Give a stupichny nut, remove a washer. If the nave in the course of an otdavaniye of a nut begins to be turned. Jam mount between two wheel hairpins, having rested its second end against the earth, or a body element of the car.

7. For release of a pin of a shaft from stupichny assembly use the hammer and a brass drift. If components "stuck" and the shaft does not move from the place, it is necessary to remove a brake disk (see the Head the Brake system) and to use a 2-gripping stripper.

8. Remove protection of a case and get drain capacity under assembly of transmission.
9. Remove a clamp of fastening of a brake hose to a suspension bracket rack, then release a rack from assembly of a rotary fist (see the Head Podvesk and steering).

10. Having pulled assembly of a rotary fist outside, remove it from a pin of a power shaft (try not to damage a brake hose).

 If the brake hose prevents removal of a rotary fist, remove a support of the brake mechanism and, without disconnecting a hose, tie up assembly to rounds of a rack-mount spring.

11. At dismantle of the left shaft use mount for accurate release of a pin of the internal CV JOINT from transmission. The casing of the internal hinge of the right shaft is passed throughout assembly of the basic bearing. For release of assembly from the bearing arm turn out three bolts of fastening of the last to the bearing. Mark position of the bearing in relation to an arm and carefully remove assembly of a shaft.

 At removal of the left shaft on the models equipped with AT there can be a situation when to release the internal hinge from transmission it will appear not perhaps. In that case it is necessary to remove at first the right shaft, then to pass the screw-driver through side gear wheels of differential and to beat out the left shaft from within.

12. Do not forget to replace epiploons of power shafts in a transmission case (see the Head the Transmission).

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made upside-down. Pay attention to the next moments:

a) At installation of assembly of the left shaft do not forget to put a new lock ring in a flute on a pin of the internal CV JOINT. Sharply push a shaft in transmission, trying to obtain a ring zashchelkivaniye in a reciprocal flute in a nave of a side gear wheel of differential (on the right shaft of such ring it is not provided, - fixing of assembly is provided with three bolts of fastening of an arm of the basic bearing;
b) At installation of the right shaft track that bolts of fastening of the holder of the basic bearing were tightened with the required effort;
c) Having established wheels, lower the car on the earth and tighten nuts of fastening of wheels with the required effort (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance);
d) Track respect for effort of tightening of a stupichny nut, do not forget to establish a felt washer and to replace the forelock;
e) Check the level of gearbox oil (model with RKPP) or lubricant liquid of differential (model with AT), in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
