Removal and RKPP installation

Details of installation of a case of the transmission

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the battery with the pallet (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine).
2. Remove the air cleaner with the MAF sensor and an air inlet (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).

3. Remove from RKPP case the executive cylinder of a hydraulic actuator of coupling (see the Head Stsepleniye and power shafts). Release a clamp and release the hydraulic line of the drive of coupling from the basic arm on RKPP case.

 Do not allow squeezing of a pedal of coupling at the removed executive cylinder.

4. Disconnect an electrical wiring from VSS (see the Section Replacement of Epiploons). Disconnect grounding tires.
5. On models since 1995 of the issue remove the sensor of provision of a bent shaft (see the Head of the Control system of the engine).
6. Remove from a transmission case assembly of a starter (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine).

7. Turn out the top bolts of fastening of a case of the transmission.

 Bolts of fastening of transmission to the engine have various length and are not interchangeable therefore at their reversing it is necessary to mark accurately.

8. Weaken nuts of fastening of forward wheels. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Remove forward wheels.
9. Disconnect an electrical wiring from sensors switches of fires of a backing and disconnection of a chain of a starter (see the Section Check and replacement of the sensor switch of fires of a backing).
10. Remove the section of system of production of the fulfilled gases passing under the power unit (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).
11. Merge gearbox oil (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
12. Disconnect a basic bar and a rod of management of gear shifting from transmission (see the Section Removal and installation of components of the drive of gear shifting).
13. Remove power shafts (see the Head Stsepleniye and power shafts).
14. Prop up the engine a jack (for distribution of loading lay wooden whetstone between a head of a jack and the pallet of a case). The engine has to remain propped up during the whole time until the transmission is removed from the car.
15. Prop up the transmission a cart jack and fix it on a jack by safety chains.
16. Remove the central cross beam passing under assembly of the power unit.
17. Slightly raise assembly of the power unit and disconnect the left support of its suspension bracket. At the corresponding complete set of the car turn out also bolts of fastening of the pallet of a case of the engine to transmission (see the Head Dvigatel).
18. Turn out the remained bolts of fastening of a dome of coupling to the engine block.
19. Last time make sure that all communications are disconnected and nothing disturbs office and removal of the transmission.

20. Priopustite the jack which is propping up the engine also begin to displace assembly of RKPP aside, separating it from the unit. After the pin of a main shaft completely is released from a nave of the conducted clutch plate, omit assembly and take it from under the car. Try, whenever possible not to incline the transmission removed from the car.

21. Taking an opportunity, check a condition of components of coupling (see the Head Stsepleniye and power shafts). Performance of replacement of coupling regardless of its current state will be good form.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If removed, install into place components of coupling (see the Head Stsepleniye and power shafts).
2. Fix transmission on a jack as did it in the course of dismantle, and carefully get it under the car, having lifted in regular situation. Accurately enter a main shaft into gearing with vents of a nave of the conducted clutch plate, see to hit of the directing pins in reciprocal openings in the interfaced surface of the engine. Do not use force at all, - if the main shaft does not enter a clutch plate nave, adjust a tilt angle of the transmission and slightly turn a shaft, trying to obtain the correct combination of shlits.

 Do not tighten the warped transmission to the engine by means of fixing bolts at all, - it can lead to an irreversible exit of components out of operation!

3. Screw bolts of fastening of RKPP to the engine. Tighten fixture with the required effort.

4. Connect a support of a suspension bracket of the power unit (track reliability of tightening of fixture).
5. Establish into place a support of a suspension bracket of transmission and a cross beam.
6. Remove the jacks which are propping up a box and the engine. Establish into place all transmissions which were removed in the course of dismantle components (see respectively Chapters of the Power supply system and release, Electric equipment of the engine and the Control system of the engine).
7. Make sure in correctness of connection and laying of electric and hydraulic lines. Track that in the transmission the necessary amount of gearbox oil of the required grade was filled in (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance). Lower the car on the earth.
8. Connect a negative wire to the battery. Make trial runs of the car, check the engine and the transmission for existence of signs of development of leaks.
