Check of serviceability of functioning of measuring instruments of temperature of the engine and fuel consumption

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 This procedure belongs only to measuring instruments of analog type.

1. Before check ignition has to be switched off.
2. If the arrow of the measuring instrument constantly is in zero situation (an empty tank, or the cold engine), check a condition of the corresponding safety lock. If a safety lock as it should be, find the block of the corresponding sensor (see the Head of the Power supply system and release [fuel consumption sensor], or the Head of the Cooling system, heating [temperature sensor]). A wire crossing point close the sensor socket on weight.
3. For a short time include ignition. If there is a measuring instrument arrow throw, replace the sensor, otherwise by means of a wire crossing point ground the sensor plug on the back party of the measuring instrument (in case of need see schemes of electric connections).

 In order to avoid a measuring instrument exit out of operation you do not hold ignition included longer than it is really necessary. If when grounding the last plug of the shooter of the measuring instrument it is displaced in the maximum situation, the problem consists in malfunction of a condition of an electrical wiring on the site of a chain between the measuring instrument and the sensor. If the arrow remains in former (zero) situation, check tension on the second plug of the measuring instrument at grounded by the first, - tension has to be absent, otherwise replace the measuring instrument.
