Removal, check of a state and installation of the oil pump

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Take off a gas-distributing belt and cogwheels of the GRM drive (see the Section Removal and installation of a gas-distributing belt and cogwheels of the GRM drive). Remove the case pallet (see the Section Removal and installation of the pallet of a case of the engine).
2. Remove an adjusting level of the generator and turn out a bolt of fastening of a level to the oil pump (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine).

3. Otboltite assembly of the steering pump (see the Head Podvesk and steering) also shift it aside, without disconnecting hydraulic lines. Remove an arm of fastening of the steering pump.

4. Turn out bolts of fastening of the oil pump to the engine block.

Tube of a maslozabornik with a nozzle of the filter can be left connected to the pump. One of bolts of fastening of assembly of the pump is turned out at the stage described in paragraph 2, a long bolt of fastening of an adjusting level of the generator.

5. For the purpose of destruction of a layer of sealant tap assembly of the pump the hammer through wooden whetstone.
6. Having pulled outside, remove the pump from the engine block.
7. Scratch out all traces of sealant and fragments of material of old laying from the interfaced surfaces of the pump and block of the engine, then wipe surfaces with the rags moistened in acetone.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. By means of the big screw-driver with a cross-shaped sting turn out screws of fastening of a back cover of the oil pump.

2. Wash out all components in solvent, then check them for existence of signs of excessive wear and mechanical damages.

3. Remove a cap and take components of the reducing valve. Estimate a condition of the sliding surface of the valve and its spring. In case of detection of defects replace components in a set.

4. By means of the measuring probe of lezviyny type determine sizes of working gaps of gear wheels of the pump. The following gaps are subject to check:

a) An axial side play of landing of an internal gear wheel in a pump housing;
b) An axial side play of landing of an external gear wheel in a pump housing;
c) A gap between the forming surface of an external gear wheel and a pump housing;
d) A gap between teeths of an external gear wheel and a crescent partition;
e) A gap between teeths of an internal gear wheel and a crescent partition;
Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications. In case of need make replacement of the pump assembled.

5. Fill the pump technical vaseline. Establish into place a cover and tighten screws of its fastening with the required effort. Install into place components of the reducing valve, screw and tighten a cap.

6. Having replaced a sealing ring, connect a tube of a maslozabornik to assembly of the pump. Tighten bolts of fastening of a tube with the required effort.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Grease the interfaced surface of the pump with RTV sealant.

2. Installation of components is made as it should be, the return to an order of their dismantle. Do not forget to replace sealing laying.

Lyski naves of an internal gear wheel of the pump have to enter gearing with reciprocal lyska on a pin of a bent shaft. Track that all fixture was tightened with the required effort.
