Engine assembly order

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Before starting assembly of the engine, make sure available all necessary details, materials and tools to which number the following belongs:

a) Standard set of the metalwork tool;
b) A dynamometer key with the drive on 1/2 inches;
c) The tool for putting on of piston rings;
d) The tool for a staving of piston rings;
e) Short pieces of a fuel hose for putting on on hairpins of covers of conrod bearings;
f) Measuring Plasti-gage set;
g) Set of probes of lezviyny type;
h) A file with small tooth;
i) Fresh motive oil;
j) Assembly motive, or molibdensoderzhashchy lubricant;
k) Pro-masonry sealant;
l) Sealant for fixing of threaded connections.
2. For saving of time and minimization of volume of the arising problems you make assembly of the engine in the following order:

SOHC engines

a) Piston rings;
b) Bent shaft and radical bearings;
c) Back epiploon of a bent shaft;
d) Conrod and piston assemblies;
e) The oil pump with a maslozaborny tube (see the Part SOHC Engines);
f) The case pallet (see the Part SOHC Engines);
g) Heads of cylinders with camshafts, pushers of valves and yokes (see the Part SOHC Engines);
h) A gas-distributing belt with cogwheels (see the Part SOHC Engines);
i) Covers of a gas-distributing belt (see the Part SOHC Engines);
j) The inlet pipeline and a final collector (see the Part SOHC Engines);
k) Covers of heads of cylinders (see the Part SOHC Engines);
l) A back plate of the engine (see the Part SOHC Engines);
m) A flywheel / a driving disk (see the Part SOHC Engines).

DOHC engines

a) Piston rings;
b) Bent shaft and radical bearings;
c) A back epiploon of a bent shaft with the holder;
d) Conrod and piston assemblies;
e) The oil pump with a maslozaborny tube (see the Part DOHC Engines);
