System of blocking of switching of transmission - the general information, check of a state and replacement of components

 Some of the models considered in the present manual are equipped with safety cushions, - without fail disconnect SRS at service of the components located near pillows (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).


General information

The system of blocking of switching prevents a possibility of a conclusion of the lever of the selector from provisions "P" and N" without preliminary squeezing of a pedal of a foot brake. Except for described below the elementary checks, performance of failure diagnostics of system has to be entrusted to specialists of car service.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the central console (see the Head Kuzov).
2. Walk on an electrical wiring plait from the electromagnetic valve of blocking of switching to the contact socket and disunite the last. By means of couple of wires crossing points give tension of the battery of the plug of the electromagnetic valve, - clearly distinguishable click has to sound.

 You do not leave the valve under tension longer, than it is really necessary for check!

3. The faulty electromagnetic valve is subject to replacement.

Replacement of components

Electromagnetic valve of blocking of switching

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the central console (see the Head Kuzov).
2. Remove the indicator of provision of the chosen AT mode.
3. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the electromagnetic valve of blocking of switching. Having passed a thin core throughout a forward part of the socket, wring out lock uvulas and disunite the socket.
4. Turn out fixing screws and remove assembly of the electromagnetic valve.
5. Installation is made upside-down.

Driving cable of blocking of a key

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For replacement of the torn-off cable of the drive of blocking of a key it is necessary to uncover a casing of a steering column and the central console (see the Head Kuzov).
2. Remove a lock plate from the lock cylinder, then release the top tip of a driving cable from assembly.

3. Release a cover of a cable of blocking of a key from an arm in the lower part of the lever of the selector. Remove a clamp and disconnect a cable from the lever.

4. Release the ram from the holder of the regulator and remove a rod of blocking of a key; at introduction of a rod in the holder of the regulator of a new cable it is necessary to push it before click.

5. Further installation is made as it should be the return to an order of dismantle of components.
