Removal, check of a state and installation of the oil pump
REMOVAL
CHECK

1. By means of the big screw-driver with a crosswise sting turn out screws of fastening of a forward cover of the oil pump. |
2. Wash out internal components of assembly in solvent and attentively examine on existence of signs of excessive wear and mechanical damages.

3. Turn out a cap and take components of the reducing valve from a pump housing. Estimate a condition of working surfaces of the valve and its springs. In case of identification of defective components, replace all set.

4. By means of the probe of lezviyny type perform measurement of working gaps of gear wheels of the oil pump. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications. During this check the following parameters have to be determined:
a) A gap between teeths of internal and external gear wheels; b) A gap between the forming surface of an external gear wheel and the case; c) Axial side play of landing of an internal gear wheel d) Axial side play of landing of an external gear wheel; e) A radial gap of landing of the acting stupichny part of an internal gear wheel in a pump housing (it is calculated by subtraction of results of two measurements. At an exit any of parameters out of limits of admissible range assembly of the pump is subject to replacement. |
5. Fill internal cavities of the pump technical vaseline. Enclose internal components in the case, establish a cover and strongly tighten screws of its fastening. Install into place carburetors of the reducing valve, strongly tighten a cap. |

INSTALLATION
|
|
Assembly is made as it should be the return to a dismantle order. Do not forget to replace all sealing laying. Track. That lysk in a stupichny part of an internal gear wheel of the pump correctly entered gearing with reciprocal lyska on a pin of a bent shaft. Tighten all fixture with the required effort.

Before installing the case pallet, replace sealing rings in a casing of the pump and the block of the engine. |
