Check of serviceability of functioning and replacement of the sensor switch of stoplights

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The sensor switch is located at the left on an arm near the top part of a pedal of a foot brake, - the sensor switch of a control system of speed is located on the right. The sensor switch provides inclusion of stoplights in assemblies of the back combined lamps when squeezing a pedal of a foot brake.

2. Visually make sure of serviceability of operation of stoplights when squeezing a pedal and of their shutdown at a pedal otpuskaniye.
3. If stoplights do not join, make sure of correctness of adjustments of a pedal (see the Section Adjustment of a Pedal of a Foot Brake), then execute adjustment actually of the sensor switch.
4. The sensor switch fastens on a basic arm by means of a lock-nut. Weaken a lock-nut and rotation of the sensor switch achieve that gap size between an end face of its plunger and an emphasis of a pedal did not exceed the limit of the range of 0.3 ÷ 1.0 mm (the plunger has to be in a free state). Tighten a lock-nut and repeat check of serviceability of functioning of the sensor switch.
5. If adjustment of position of the sensor switch does not lead to correction of a situation, therefore, violation of giving of food on the sensor switch, or defect actually of assembly takes place. By means of the voltmeter or a lamp sampler check presence of tension on the sensor switch socket. At the released pedal tension has to take place only on one of socket plugs, at squeezed out - on both. The faulty sensor switch is subject to replacement.

REPLACEMENT

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor switch.
2. Weaken a lock-nut and turn out the sensor switch from a basic arm.
3. Installation is made upside-down.
4. Execute adjustment of a pedal of a foot brake (see the Section Adjustment of a Pedal of a Foot Brake), then, in case of need adjust the sensor switch (see above).
