Removal and installation of the antenna of the radio receiver

Driving electric motor

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Give a nut of fastening of a mast of the antenna. In order to avoid damage of LKP paste on a surrounding nut the surface of the body panel a protective layer of an adhesive tape.

2. In the luggage compartment release plastic clamps of fastening of the right finishing panel for the purpose of ensuring access to an antenna drive electric motor.

3. Turn out fixing screws, disconnect an electrical wiring and remove assembly of an electric motor from the car.

4. Installation is made upside-down.

Antenna mast

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 The help of the assistant will be required.

1. Give a nut of fastening of a mast.

2. Holding an antenna mast, ask to include ignition and the radio receiver, the antenna has to leave gearing with the driving motor.

3. At installation of a mast track that the driving cable was turned by a tooth on the car back. Ask the assistant to include ignition and the radio receiver - the antenna has to be involved in assembly of an electric motor.
4. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.

Antenna lattice

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. On the majority of models the accepting lattice of the antenna is pasted on back glass of the car in a combination with a heater lattice.
2. The antenna lattice is pasted in the top part of glass. Check of serviceability of a state and recovery repair of an antenna lattice is made also as well as for a heater lattice (see the Section Check of Serviceability of Functioning and Recovery Repair of a Heater of Back Glass).
