Systems of heating, ventilation and air conditioning

At the correct use of opportunities of systems of heating and ventilation in interior of the car comfortable conditions of stay are provided and fogging of glasses is excluded.

If the car upon purchase was not equipped with the air conditioning system, it can be mounted and established in any time, convenient for the owner, - address at car repair shop of the Nissan company.

Switch of the choice of the high-speed mode of the fan

The switch allows to carry out the choice of the high-speed mode of rotation of the fan of the heater/conditioner of air. The switch has five provisions - OFF (Vykl) and 4 provisions of various speed of rotation of a krylchatka.

Switches of the choice of the direction of distribution of air

By means of these push-button switches the choice of the direction of distribution of an air stream is carried out (the top level, foot wells, having blown in glasses and two mixed modes).

Air temperature regulator

The Polzunkovy regulator allows to choose the required temperature condition of functioning of systems of heating/conditioning at the discretion of the operator. Regulator handle shift leads to increase in temperature of the air car given in salon, to the right to the left - to reduction.

The button of the choice of the mode of the closed air circulation

By means of this button the choice of the mode of air circulation in salon is carried out. At the wrung-out button (position of OFF) in salon fresh external air moves. This mode is used during the normal long work of a heater or К/В. When squeezing the button (the control lamp which is built in inside has to light up) the system passes into the mode of the closed air circulation in salon. Data the mode usually is chosen at the movement on strongly dusty or gas-polluted sections of the road, and also in case of need a bystry ostuzheniye of air in salon the conditioner.

At long use of the mode of the closed circulation there is an air stagnation in interior of the car.

Switch of the conditioner of A/C air

The A/C button is intended for inclusion and switching off of the conditioner of air. For turning on of the conditioner start the engine, choose the required high-speed mode of the fan (situation 1 ÷ 4) and press the A/C button), - the control lamp which is built in in the button has to light up. Shutdown of the conditioner is made by repeated pressing the button.

Control of deflectors

Nozzles of the central air ducts of the dashboard are equipped with the special zhalyuziyny deflectors allowing to regulate a deviation of the given air stream both in horizontal and in vertical the planes. Control of deflectors is exercised by means of built in a lattice snuffled a rychazhka and the roller switch, close to a lattice, which design allows to turn off air supply completely.

Lattices of side air ducts of the dashboard have a similar design.

Instructions for use of systems of ventilation, heating and air conditioning

Detailed maintenance instructions of systems of heating, ventilation and air conditioning in various climatic conditions are given below. Information on how to provide effective ventilation, heating and cooling of air in interior of the car, and also how quickly to remove condensate and hoarfrost from glasses is provided to attention of the reader.

All considered systems function only at the started engine. As a working body for a heater cooling liquid of the engine is used. If the engine is not heated-up up to the normal working temperature, several minutes before in salon warm air begins to move will be required. Operation of the air conditioning system does not depend on temperature of cooling liquid of the engine.

In absolute majority of cases the best efficiency of functioning of the systems providing a comfortable microclimate is reached in the giving mode in salon of external air. Long inclusion of the mode of the closed circulation, especially at the idle conditioner of air, leads to fogging of glasses and increase in a spertost of air therefore it is recommended to include this mode only in case of need and for rather short time, for example, at the movement on the area with the smoke-filled or polluted atmosphere. As soon as need of isolation of salon disappears, giving in salon of fresh air has to be resumed.

External atmospheric air comes to systems of heating and conditioning through the reception lattice located before a windshield and equipped with a fairing. Periodically clean openings of a reception lattice from leaves and the other garbage complicating air passing.

Ventilation of interior of the car

The system of a supply and exhaust ventilation provides constant exchange of air in interior of the car. The fresh external air arriving through a forward reception lattice circulates on salon and then is removed through the exhaust outlets located near back glass.
a) Take away temperature regulator handle in extreme left situation. Check that the conditioner of air was switched off;
b) Choose the air distribution mode corresponding to the pictogram. The mode of the closed air circulation has to be switched off;
c) Having chosen the corresponding high-speed mode of the fan, establish the required intensity of air supply in interior of the car.

Cooling of air in interior of the car

Cooling of salon is made as follows:
a) Turn on the air conditioner, having pressed the A/C button, - the control lamp which is built in in the button has to light up;
b) Track that the handle of the regulator of air temperature was displaced in extreme left situation.
c) Choose the direction of the direction of distribution of air corresponding to the pictogram;
d) At high humidity of external air include the mode of the closed circulation, at low humidity, - the mode of inflow of fresh air;
e) Having chosen the corresponding high-speed mode of the fan, establish the required intensity of air supply in salon.

If the car staid a long time in the sun and air in salon strongly heated up, to quickly reduce temperature in salon as follows:
a) Start the engine;
b) Turn on the air conditioner (A/C button). Check that the handle of the regulator of air temperature was displaced in extreme left situation;
c) Having chosen the corresponding high-speed mode of the fan, establish the maximum intensity of air supply in salon;
d) Partially slightly open windows and choose the direction of distribution of air corresponding to the pictogram. Include the mode of inflow of fresh air.

After air temperature in salon decreases to the acceptable level, close windows and set the normal mode of air conditioning (see above).

Operation of the air conditioning system leads to increase in load of the car engine therefore it is necessary to watch closely an arrow of the index of temperature of cooling liquid, moving with frequent stops and at a small speed in the conditions of an intense city cycle, or overcoming long raising of the considerable steepness. At approach of an arrow of the index to the red range of a scale, temporarily switch off the air conditioner until temperature of the engine does not return to norm.

Heating of interior of the car

To lift air temperature in interior of the car, execute the following manipulations.
a) Start the engine;
b) Choose the direction of distribution of air corresponding to the pictogram. The mode of the closed air circulation has to be switched off;
c) Having chosen the corresponding high-speed mode of the fan, establish the required intensity of air supply in salon;
d) Displacing the air temperature regulator handle in this or that party, establish desirable extent of heating of air.

Heating of salon with simultaneous drainage of air by means of the conditioner

During the work of air conditioning system humidity of air in interior of the car decreases therefore simultaneous inclusion of systems of heating and conditioning allows to make air in interior of the car warm and dry.
a) Turn on the fan;
b) Turn on the air conditioner;
c) Choose the direction of distribution of air corresponding to the pictogram. The mode of recirculation of air has to be switched off.
d) Displacing the air temperature regulator handle in this or that party, establish desirable extent of heating of the air coming to salon. In this mode cold air from the conditioner mixes up with warm air from a heater.

Joint inclusion of systems of heating and air conditioning can be applied in any traffic conditions when temperature of air is above 0 °C.

Removal from glasses of condensate and hoarfrost

It is possible to clear the internal surfaces of glasses of the condensed moisture as follows:
a) Turn on the fan;
b) At the corresponding complete set of the car turn on the air conditioner;
c) Choose the direction of distribution of air corresponding to the pictogram. The mode of the closed air circulation has to be switched off;
d) Install the air temperature regulator handle in such situation that through nozzles of an obduv of a windshield warm air moved;
e) Include an electric heater of back glass for more bystry removal of the condensed moisture from its surface. For switching off of the conditioner press the А/С button.

To remove from an external surface wind and side glasses the hoarfrost or ice formed later parking of the car on the street in frosty weather, execute the following manipulations:
a) Include ignition, having turned a key in the lock in the provision of "ON";
b) Choose the direction of distribution of air corresponding to the pictogram. The mode of the closed air circulation has to be switched off. Some options of execution of the car provide a possibility of automatic inclusion of the mode of supply of fresh air and the conditioner, by the choice of the direction of distribution corresponding to the pictogram;
c) Displace the air temperature regulator handle in extreme right situation (the maximum heating of air) and turn on the fan on the maximum speed;
d) Start the car engine.

For acceleration of cleaning of a windshield of hoarfrost or ice it is recommended to include the mode of the closed air circulation in very cold weather at first. After the windshield is exempted from frost, resume supply of fresh air for the purpose of prevention of fogging of glasses.

In the mode of an obduv of glasses all given to salon of air arrives through the slot-hole nozzles located from above on the dashboard at the windshield basis and also via side ventilating deflectors of the dashboard. Air temperature, the blowing glass, and the speed of purification of glasses increase in process of warming up of the engine. For acceleration of process of removal from a windshield of condensate, hoarfrost or ice it is possible to close side ventilating deflectors (see an illustration 4.10). In this case all air will go only on having blown in a windshield.

For reasons of safety it is not necessary to begin the movement until all windows of the car are not cleared of condensate, and the adequate review will not be provided to the driver.

Switching off of systems of heating and ventilation

Temporarily to disconnect systems of heating and ventilation, turn the air temperature regulator handle in extreme left situation, set the minimum high-speed operating mode of the fan.

Need for shutdown of systems arises the first several minutes after start of the engine in cold weather as it provides more bystry warming up of the engine up to the temperature sufficient for effective functioning of a heater. You keep the fan in all other cases constantly included in order to avoid an air stagnation in salon.

System of climate control

Appearance of the control panel of systems of heating, ventilation and conditioning of the models equipped with system of climate control is presented on an illustration.

Start the engine and turn on the conditioner.

Automatic cooling and the draining heating

In this mode the system automatically maintains in salon the set temperature regardless of fluctuations of temperature of external air. Distribution of streams of distribution of air and speed of rotation of the fan are also controlled automatically.

Press the AUTO button, - on the display the inscription of the corresponding content has to be highlighted.

By means of a key of the regulator located to the left of the display of the control panel set the required temperature condition.

Efficiency of functioning of system, optimum about currents of sight, temperature of 25 °C is considered.

The mode of automatic maintenance of temperature and adjustment of distribution of air is included.

Having warmed (economy mode)

It is not recommended to use this mode in case of fogging of glasses.

Does not work in the K/V this mode.

Press inclusions of economy mode (ECON) the button, - on the display the inscription of the corresponding content has to be highlighted.

Choose the required temperature condition of system of heating.

In order to avoid failures in work of a heater it is not necessary to establish temperature lower than temperature of air.

The mode of automatic maintenance of temperature and adjustment of distribution of air is included.

Removal of condensate

1. Press inclusions of an obduv of glasses the button - the control lamp which is built in in the button has to light up.
2. Choose the required temperature condition.
3. For the accelerated removal of condensate and hoarfrost from the outer side of glasses choose the maximum high-speed mode of functioning of the fan.
4. As soon as clear a windshield, press the AUTO button for return to the automatic mode of functioning of system.
5. At the included obduv and temperature of air below 2 °C happen automatic switching of system in the mode of removal of condensate to shutdown of the mode of the closed circulation. Giving in salon of external air accelerates process of removal of condensate.

Manual control by the speed of rotation of the fan

The manual choice of the high-speed mode of rotation of a krylchatka of the fan is made by means of the keyboard switch located to the right of the display. For return of system to the automatic mode press the AUTO button.

The button of inclusion of the mode of the closed air circulation

At inclusion of the mode of the closed circulation the control lamp which is built in in the switch button has to light up. Shutdown of the mode is made by repeated pressing of the button.

Inclusion of the mode of the closed circulation becomes impossible at installation of system on removal of condensate.

Button of the manual choice of the direction of distribution of air ("MODE")

By means of this button one of the following four modes of distribution of the air given to salon can be chosen:

a) Air supply through air ducts of the top level (the central and side deflectors of the dashboard);
b) Air supply through air ducts of the top level and in foot wells;
c) Air supply in foot wells;
d) Air supply in foot wells and on having blown in wind and side glasses.

Features of operation of system of climate control

At the low ambient temperature and the cold engine air supply in foot wells in the first 150 seconds after implementation of start of the engine is blocked and resumed only after sufficient warming up of cooling liquid.

In the dashboard of the car temperature sensor according to which indications support of temperature at the set level is carried out is built in. Try not to put any objects near the sensor.

Audio system

Autoradio tape recorder

The radio tape recorder functions only at the included ignition (a key in position of ON or ASS).

For the best reception of a radio signal it is necessary to put forward the antenna completely. Reception of a radio signal is influenced by the power of the transmitting station and its remoteness, hindrances from buildings, bridges, mountains and other obstacles, - as a rule, short-term changes in quality of reception are caused by existence of similar hindrances.

Appearance of the control panel of the autoradio tape recorder which is included in a basic equipment of the Nissan Maxima cars is presented on an illustration. The radio tape recorder is equipped with the removable forward panel.

The radio tape recorder includes the radio receiver of ranges of DV-SV-UKV and the cassette player of magnetic records. Besides, are a part of the system the code security module and the CD player with the device of automatic change of disks. The tape recorder has high quality of reproduction thanks to use of the filter of noise of the Dolby system.

System of double reception

Reception of a signal in VHF range often is followed by the strong noise connected with good reflection of very high frequency from various obstacles. The system of double reception based on two antennas is applied to improvement of quality of reception. The first antenna represents the ordinary telescopic antenna. The second antenna - wire type - is pasted on back glass of the car. The system automatically switches to that antenna which provides the best quality of reception at present.

Security system

For the purpose of minimization of risk of stealing the audio system is equipped with security system with use of a four-digit digital code. Without input of a code turning on of the radio tape recorder is not possible. At normal operation the audio system is not blocked and works as usual.

The security system works only at extraction of the module from the dashboard. It is possible to unblock the module only input of a certain code. The code is individual for each radio tape recorder, is not subject to change and is specified in a special card which invests in a ware box on the place of assembly of the car. It is necessary to ask a question of location of a card on Nissan car repair shop.

You store a card with a code of security system in the safe place, it is desirable out of the car. In case of loss of a card and lack of the duplicating records of a code it is necessary to address on Nissan car repair shop.

Removable control panel

For removal of the control panel, displace the handle of its fastening to the left.

Before leaving the car on the parking parking it is recommended to put the panel in the case enclosed in a set and to take it with itself. The case is intended for protection of the panel from damages. For turning on of the radio tape recorder install the panel on the regular place. For carrying out maintenance of the removable control panel at Nissan car repair shop it is necessary to show a card with a security code.

Removal of a security code

Attentively examine the instructions given below and in accuracy you follow all instructions.

1. For carrying out the certain categories of maintenance of the car connected with shutdown of the rechargeable battery it is required to remove a security code of the autoradio tape recorder. If previously not to remove a code, at power off there will be a blocking of system.
2. Turn on the radio receiver, - on the display there has to be an inscription "CODE IN" (the code is entered).
3. Press any button (except "Щ", Kommersant and "PS/AS"), - on the display the inscription "0000" will be highlighted.
4. By means of buttons of control for the fixed radio stations gather the required security code on a board.
5. Press the button of input of the PS/AS code.
6. Press and hold the buttons 1 and 4 of settings for radio stations.
7. Switch off twice and again turn on the module with the pressed buttons 1 and 4 (ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON).
8. When highlighting on the display after the last turning on of the radio tape recorder of the inscription "0000" press any button (behind the exception "Щ", Kommersant and "PS/AS").
9. By means of buttons of control for the fixed radio stations gather the corresponding security code.
10. Press the button of input of the code "PS/AS", - on the display the inscription "CLEAR" begins to blink, and at the same time there will be a turning on of the radio receiver/tape recorder.
11. Removal of a security code is complete.

At input of the incorrect code on a board the entered figures remain to burn, the receiver/tape recorder at the same time does not turn on. At each turning on of the radio tape recorder after removal of a security code on the display it will be highlighted, and then to disappear the inscription "CLEAR". In order to avoid theft of the module of the radio receiver do not leave the car on the parking parking at the remote code of the device of blocking.

Restoration of a security code

1. The code should be restored upon termination of procedures of maintenance of the car at once.
2. Switch off the radio receiver.
3. Press and hold pressed the buttons 1 and 4 of settings for radio stations.
4. Switch on and off the radio tape recorder at the pressed buttons 1 and 4, - on the display the inscription "CODE IN" will be highlighted (the code is established).
5. Now input of a security code is complete, the security system is activated.

Unblocking of the autoradio tape recorder

1. At shutdown of the rechargeable battery for any reason leads to blocking of the audio system. After restoration of food and turning on of the module on a board the inscription "CODE IN" is highlighted. For unblocking of system and restoration of its working capacity do the following:
2. Include food, on the display the inscription "CODE IN" will be highlighted.
3. Press any button (except for Kommersant, "Щ" and "PS/AS"), - the inscription "0000" will be highlighted.
4. Gather a confidential code (see above).
5. Press the button of input of the PS/AS code, the system will be unblocked and there will be a turning on of the radio receiver/tape recorder. At input of the wrong code on the display the inscription "----" is highlighted. Wait about 10 seconds and repeat attempt of input of a code.

The device of blocking is equipped with the protective mechanism limiting the number of inputs of the wrong code. After the first and second unsuccessful attempts the system accepts the next input in 10 seconds. After input of the wrong code from 3 to 20 times the interval between inputs increases up to 15 minutes. Further attempts lead to full blocking of system then it is only possible to unblock it in at company car repair shop of the Nissan company.

Code indicator

The burning bulb of the CODE indicator indicates that the security system of protection is in a ready state. Before leaving the car, it is always necessary to check readiness of security system on an indicator bulb. For inclusion of protection press the PS/AS button after performance of the following actions:

a) Switch off the radio receiver;
b) Switch off ignition;
c) Remove the control panel, - the indicator begins to blink. For shutdown of the indicator press the PS/AS button repeatedly.

Rules of use of system in the radio reception mode

Turn the handle food/loudness and press the button of turning on of the radio receiver (TUNER). Be adjusted on desirable radio station. The handle of loudness adjust loudness. Pressing of the handle food/loudness it is possible to make inclusion/switching off of the mode of LOUD sounding. In the mode LOUDLY on a board the inscription "LOUD" is shown.

Choice of range

Switching of the frequency range (UKV/SV/DV) is made by means of the BAND button, on the display of the control panel designation U, M or L, respectively is highlighted.

Mode of manual control

For transition to the mode of manual control press the TUM CAR switch, - the control lamp which is built in the switch button has to light up. Pressing of buttons "Shch" and "Ü" changes the frequency of the accepted signal to one step up or down. For continuous change of frequency hold the corresponding button of pressed.

Mode of automatic configuration

For transition from the mode of manual control to the mode of automatic configuration press the TUM A/M switch. In the automatic mode the receiver is adjusted on the nearest radio station. When pressing the button "Shch" and "Ü" of radio it is reconstructed on the following nearest radio station in the mode of local search (LOCAL). If in local area of frequencies the station is not found, the system makes switching of sensitivity to the DX mode, - the corresponding indicator has to light up. If the station is not found also in the mode DX, the receiver begins to conduct continuous alternate search. Autosearch is interrupted by pressing of the TUM CAR switch.

Function of storing of radio stations

The radio receiver allows to record six radio stations in each of ranges of frequencies. For this purpose do the following:
a) Be adjusted on the desirable station;
b) Press and hold the control for radio stations pressed more than 2 seconds any of buttons, - reproduction has to stop;
c) After completion of process of storing on the button of the chosen channel the indicator lights up, and reproduction is resumed;
d) Other channels are installed similarly.

At power off of the radio receiver or knocking-out of a safety lock memory of the radio receiver is erased. In this case it is necessary to repeat the procedure of control for desirable stations.

Automatic storing of radio stations

1. For automatic storing of six radio stations press the button and take it more than 2 seconds. Pressing of the button for the period of less than 2 seconds sets the mode of preliminary scanning of frequencies. For an identification of the recorded radio stations press the buttons 1-6.
2. During the procedure of storing of radio station on the corresponding button of the channel illumination of number of the channel and a control lamp blinks.
3. Function of automatic storing conducts search of stations at first in local area of frequencies, and then in the mode DX. If after two cycles of search in both modes less than 6 radio stations are found, the procedure of storing stops, and the radio receiver passes to the frequency established earlier.

Sounding control

To achieve the maximum quality of sounding, adjust a sound timbre BASS and TREBLE handles.

Adjustment of balance

Extend the handle food/loudness/balance and, rotating it, adjust balance of loudness between the right and left loudspeakers.

Sound depth

The FADER handle adjust balance of loudness between forward and back loudspeakers.

Switching to the mode of reception of the station of road broadcasting (if is available)

1. For inclusion of the mode establish the range of VHF (U) and press the TP-VF button, - on the display the inscription "VF" will be highlighted.
2. During broadcast of the program of road information the radio receiver automatically switches to the relevant station of broadcasting, and on the display the inscription "TR" is highlighted, at the same time reproduction loudness automatically increases. If at the time of inclusion of the mode of broadcasting of road information the tape recorder works, the pause automatically joins. Upon termination of broadcasting playing of the cartridge is resumed.
3. In the mode of automatic configuration at the pressed TP-VF button the tuner accepts only those stations which broadcast the program of road information at present.
4. Inclusion of function of automatic storing at the pressed TP-VF button leads to fixing in memory of the radio receiver only of those stations which broadcast the program of road information at present.

Rules of use of system in the mode of reproduction of magnetic records

Install the ignition key in the provision of "ASS" or "ON" and press the button of an operating mode of the tape recorder (CONTAINER). Horizontally insert the cartridge in a kassetopriyemnik the open party to the right. After loading of a tape record reproduction will begin.

It is not necessary to use force at insertion of the cartridge! The indicator of the CONTAINER button shows the direction of rewind of a film. For the accelerated rewind press forward the button "Shch" which corresponds to the direction of the movement of a tape. For rewind press back the button "Ü" opposite to that which is shown on the indicator.

Function of automatic search (APS)

1. The APS function allows to pass to the beginning and the end of the current record automatically.
2. For inclusion of the APS mode press twice the button "Shch" or "Ü", - search of the beginning or end of record will begin (the control lamp which is built in the button will burn).
3. At the pressed SCAN button (the built-in control lamp burns) double pressing of the button "Shch" /" Kommersant" leads to start of function of preliminary listening forward or back.
4. The APS function can not work in the following cases:

a) Level of record is too low;
b) On a tape informal conversation is written down;
c) Intervals between records make less than 4 seconds;
d) Pauses between records too long;
e) Record goes without intervals;
f) The pause is filled with a strong noise background.

Change of the direction of the movement of a tape

Press the BAND/DISC/34 switch.

Function of search of the beginning of the following record

For repeated reproduction of the current record press the RPT button. During action of function of repetition on the button the built-in control lamp and the inscription RPT burns.

System of suppression of noise Dolby NR

If the magnetic record is coded on the Dolby NR system, then for elimination of high-frequency noise of a tape press the DOLBY NR button, - the control lamp which is built in the button will light up.

Filters of the Dolby NR brand are produced according to the license of Dolby corporation. The inscription Dolby NR and double D are trademarks of this corporation.

Function of search of the beginning of the following record

For transition to the beginning of the following record press the BLS button, - the control lamp which is built in the button has to light up. This function works only if between records there are pauses more than 10 seconds long.

Extraction of the cartridge
1. Press the button of emission of the cartridge"", - reproduction stops, and the cartridge jumps out from a kassetopriyemnik.
2. The cartridge jumps out even at the switched-off tape recorder if the ignition key is in the provision of "ASS". It is possible to insert the cartridge only after inclusion of food of system.

Use of the metallized and chromeplated tapes

When playing cartridges with the metallized or chromeplated tape the player automatically switches to the mode of high-quality reproduction. During playing of such tapes the corresponding indicator burns.

Precautionary measures when using the cassette player

1. To keep high quality of sounding, Nissan recommends to use cartridges lasting reproduction less than 60 minutes.
2. It is not necessary to leave the cartridge in the player. You store cartridges in protective covers and do not allow hit on them direct sunlight, heat, moisture and magnetic materials.
3. When heating from solar radiation the cartridge can be deformed and become unsuitable for use.
4. Do not use the cartridge with the lagging behind stickers which can get stuck in the player.
5. If the tape in the cartridge was weakened, insert a pencil into one of rewinding naves and densely reel up a tape on the cartridge roller. The weakened tape can hesitate that will worsen quality of its sounding.
6. Eventually reading out, tightening and capstans become soiled fragments of a magnetic layer of the passing tape. Such polluting stratification leads to easing and distortion of reproduction in view of what heads should be cleared periodically by means of the special cartridge.

Automatic change of compact disks

1. This function works only if the automatic machine for change of disks is installed and the shop with compact disks is inserted.
2. Turn the ignition key in the provision of "ASS" or "ON" and press the button of turning on of the CD player.
3. For change of a disk in shop press the BAND/DISC/34 switch.
4. Press the button "Shch" or "Ü" for transition to the following or previous record.
5. For bystry scrolling of a disk forward or press the button "Shch" or "Ü" back and hold it pressed within more than 1 second.
6. For repeated reproduction of the current record press the RPT button.
7. For inclusion of function of scanning press the SCAN button. After the control lamp will light up, press two times the button "Shch" or "Ü" for scanning start forward or back.
8. For playing of any incidentally chosen record of the current disk press the RAN button (casual).

Electromechanical reception antenna

1. Before turning on the radio receiver it is necessary to be convinced that near an exit of the antenna there are no people and that the mast of the antenna can move forward without hindrances.
2. In order to avoid damage of the antenna in the course of an automatic wash of the car it is necessary to make sure previously that she is moved completely away.
3. Sticking to a mast of the antenna of dirt and foreign objects can lead to jamming of the electric drive. From time to time wipe a mast with the humidified pure rags.
4. Vydvigany antennas occurs automatically at turning on of the radio receiver. Switching off of the tuner leads to automatic retracting the antenna. If radio is not switched off, the antenna moves forward and cleans up at turn of the ignition key in the provision of "ON" or "OFF".

Security system

The design and the principle of functioning of security system of the CD player are similar described above for the autoradio tape recorder. Blocking joins in attempt of unauthorized removal of the player from the car, and also at disconnection of food from it.

Unblocking of the player As was already mentioned above if for any reason there is power off, then the CD player is blocked. After restoration of food and turning on of the player on the display of the control panel the inscription "-Cod-" is highlighted. For unblocking of the player and restoration of its working capacity do the following:

a) Turn on the radio receiver. There is an inscription "--Cod-";
b) Press any button (except for the button of extraction of a disk""). There is an inscription "— 0000";
c) Pressing of buttons of search: TORAHS, and, gather a code, - the entered code is displayed on the display;
d) Press the RANDOM button for input of a code. The module will be unblocked and begins to work. At input of the wrong code on the display the inscription "----" is highlighted. It is necessary to wait 10 seconds and to repeat attempt.

Code indicator

The burning control lamp of the CODE indicator indicates that the security system is in a ready state. Before leaving the car, it is always necessary to check readiness of system on the indicator for what switch off the radio receiver and ignition. the control lamp of the indicator begins to blink.

Rules of use of the CD player

In cold or rainy weather the increased humidity of air can cause failures in operation of the CD player. In such cases it is necessary to pull out the player and to completely dry or ventilate it. On uneven roads the reading-out head of the player can lose a path. At high temperature of air in salon the CD player can cease to work. In this case before its use it is necessary to cool salon. Do not allow hit of direct sunshine on the CD player.

1. Turn the ignition key in the provision of "ASS" or "ON". Insert a disk into the disk drive (the title party top). After a partial entrance to a crack the disk is picked up and loaded automatically then playing begins. After loading of a disk on the display within 5 seconds the number of records and total time of playing is highlighted. When loading a 8-centimeter compact disk on the display the inscription CD SINGLE appears.
2. If during loading of a disk the radio receiver or the cassette player works, they are automatically disconnected and reproduction of a compact disk begins.
3. The loudness, a tonality, balance and depth of sounding are regulated by handles of management of radio.
4. Before to insert a disk into the disk drive make sure on the control lamp "DISC IN" (see below) of lack of other disk. Attempts insert a disk can lead by force to different damages.

Indicator of existence of a disk

When the compact disk is loaded into the player, the inscription "DISC IN" burns in red color.

RESET button

This button is intended for start of a normal operating mode of the player. After any works with an electrical wiring of the player follows, right after its inclusion and before reproduction, it is obligatory to press the RESET button for 2 seconds.

PLAY/STOP button

PLAY/STOP
Pressing of this button during playing leads to shutdown of the display and the termination of reproduction. Repeated pressing of the button resumes playing from the place of a stop.

Buttons of manual search

Pressing of this button leads to the accelerated scrolling of the current record forward. Pressing and releasing the button, it is possible to listen to record quickly.

Pressing of this button leads to bystry scrolling of record in the opposite direction.

Function of automatic search

Pressing of this button leads to transition to the following record. Single pressing of the button increases number of the current record on the display on 1. At constantly pressed button the counter continuously passes from one record to another forward. To begin playing with the necessary record, establish number of this record on a board and release the button.

Pressing of this button leads to transition to the previous record. Single pressing of the button leads to repeated reproduction of the current record since its beginning. At constantly pressed button the counter continuously passes from one record to another back. To begin playing with the record having number smaller than at the current record, establish number of this record on a board and release the button.

The return button by the beginning

Pressing of this button during playing leads to return to the first record on a disk and to its reproduction.

Repetition button

REPEAT
This button is intended for repeated listening of the current record. After pressing of this button on the display the inscription "REPEAT" is highlighted, and after the end of the current record it repeats since the beginning. In the mode of repetition only the current recording is played. To return the mode of usual playing press the button once again. The inscription REPEAT disappears.
Function of repetition is not cancelled after a stop of a disk or after switching off of food by the ASSORTMENT switch.

Button of preliminary listening

SCAN
Function of preliminary listening allows to examine quickly all records on a disk. After pressing of the SCAN button a board there is an inscription of the corresponding content, and the player consistently reproduces the first ten seconds of each record. After the last record scanning of all disk repeats. For shutdown of scanning press this button once again. The inscription on a board disappears, and the mode of usual consecutive reproduction renews.

Button of the casual choice

RANDOM
After pressing of this button during playing on a board there is an inscription "RANDOM", and the built-in microprocessor begins to choose in a random way an order of reproduction of records on a disk. For shutdown of the casual choice of records once again press this button. The inscription on a board disappears, and the mode of usual consecutive reproduction renews.

The sequence of records is chosen in a random way that does not exclude a possibility of repetition of the same record two times in a row.

Function of the casual choice is not cancelled after a stop of a disk or after switching off of food by the ASSORTMENT switch.

Button of extraction of a disk

Pressing of this button leads to emission of a disk. At the same time it is not important, the disk is lost or costs. If at the open reception panel of the player to press the button of reproduction or to press the reception panel, then there is an automatic loading of a disk to the subsequent inclusion of the mode of reproduction. If the reception panel of the player remains open within more than 15 seconds, then there is an automatic closing of the reception panel protecting a compact disk from casual damage. In this case automatic inclusion of the mode of reproduction does not happen.

8-centimeter compact disks cannot be loaded into the player by pressing of the button of reproduction. The automatic loading mode in this case also does not work.
