1. If screen wipers work too slowly, first of all check battery charge level (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance). At the serviceable battery remove a driving electric motor (see below) and try to move brushes manually, checking freedom of their movement. In case of need make the corresponding repair of drafts and grease axial knots. Establish an electric motor into place, include ignition and again start brushes. If the speed of work of screen wipers after the made corrections did not return to normal, check quality of contact connections of a chain and reliability of fixing of sockets, having paid special attention to a condition of grounding. At a serviceable chain replace an electric motor.

2. At refusal of activation of screen wipers check a condition of the corresponding safety lock. If a safety lock as it should be, establish a wire crossing point between the plug of grounding of a driving electric motor and mass of the chassis. Repeat check. If now screen wipers begin to function normally, restore reliability of contact knots of grounding. If the motor still does not work, include screen wipers on the maximum high-speed mode check serviceability of giving of food for the motor by sounding by the voltmeter of the back party of the contact socket. Remark: It is necessary to remove the fairing panel (see the Head Kuzov). If food moves regularly, remove the motor and check it by direct connection to the battery. If at connection to the battery the motor works regularly, remove the cause of jamming of drafts of the drive of screen wipers, otherwise replace assembly of an electric motor. If giving on the food motor is broken, check presence of tension for the relay of management of screen wipers. If on the relay food moves regularly, serviceability of functioning of the switch by means of an ohmmeter (see the Section Check of Serviceability of Functioning and Replacement of Understeering Switches).

3. At violation of serviceability of functioning of screen wipers in the interval mode check a condition of a chain on the site between the switch and the module of management. If conducting as it should be measure resistance on the handle of management of a delay of the combined understeering switch (see the Section Check of Serviceability of Functioning and Replacement of Understeering Switches).
4. If brushes stop in that position which they hold at transfer of the switch to position of OFF, check serviceability of grounding of an electric motor (the socket from a plait). Connect an ohmmeter between any of plugs of a black wire and reliably grounded chassis point, - resistance has to make no more than 5 Ohms.
5. If the stop of brushes occurs only after switching off of ignition, disconnect an electrical wiring from the switch of management of functioning of screen wipers. If now brushes stop, replace the switch. If brushes continue to function, therefore, the terminal switch of an electric motor is damaged, - replace the motor.
6. If brushes at a stop do not leave under the cowl plane, check driving draft for existence of foreign objects under it. If nothing prevents leaving of brushes in parking situation, check an electrical wiring on the site of a chain between the switch and the motor. In the absence of breaks replace the motor.

2. Remove the panel of a forward fairing (see the Head Kuzov).
3. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the motor.

4. Separate assembly of the motor with driving draft from a fairing.

5. Turn out fixing bolts and remove an electric motor.

6. Installation is made upside-down.
