Removal, check of a state and installation of rack-mount assemblies of a forward suspension bracket

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Weaken wheel nuts. A car front also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Remove forward wheels.

2. Release a flexible brake hose from an arm on a suspension bracket rack.

3. Give two nuts and by means of the hammer and a drift beat out two bolts of fastening of a rack to a rotary fist.

4. Separate a rack from assembly of a rotary fist, - try not to allow an excessive pulling of the internal CV JOINT of a power shaft, in order to avoid damage of a brake hose do not allow excessive loss of a fist outside.

5. Holding a rack, give three top nuts of its fastening on a basic ledge of a mudguard of a wheel arch.

 Giving the last nut, hold a rack with a free hand. Take rack-mount assembly through a wheel arch.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Attentively examine the rack case outside, checking it for existence of signs of leak of hydraulic liquid, the cracks, dents and other mechanical defects demanding performance of the corresponding recovery repair, or assembly replacement.
2. Check rounds of a rack-mount spring for existence of the chips, cracks and other damages of a sheeting fraught with development of corrosion of a bar. Estimate a condition of a rubber pillow of a saddle of a spring.
3. In case of need make dismantling of a rack (see the Section Replacement of the Shock-absorber / Screw of a spring of rack-mount assembly).

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Start rack-mount assembly through a wheel arch on the regular place. Accurately pass fixing hairpins throughout openings of the top support. At once screw on nut hairpins, having tightened them so far only by hand.

 In view of the considerable weight of damping assembly it will be reasonable to secure with the help of the assistant.

2. Fill a rotary fist in a rack-mount flange and pass two fixing bolts throughout the nests. Screw new nuts and tighten them with the required effort.
3. Fix a brake hose in an arm on a rack, latch a clamp.
4. Establish wheels, lower the car on the earth and tighten nuts of fastening of wheels with the required effort (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
5. Tighten the top nuts of fastening of rack-mount assembly with the required effort.
