Removal and installation of a latch of the lock of a cowl and cable of its drive

The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid getting injured at its casual operation (see the Head Onboard electric equipment). It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

Latch

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lead round assembly of a latch a marker or a chertilka for the purpose of a guarantee of correctness of its installation at assembly. Unhook a spring and by means of the screw-driver release a lock otpuskaniye cable tip from assembly of a latch.

2. Installation is made upside-down.

Adjust the provision of a latch so that the cowl was reliably fixed by the lock in a closed position, - rubber pillows of support have to be flattened slightly.

Driving cable

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a driving cable of an otpuskaniye of the lock of a cowl from assembly of a latch.

2. In interior of the car turn out three fixing screws and separate the cowl lock otpuskaniye lever from the dashboard. Disconnect a cable from the lever.

3. Involve assembly of a cable in salon, accurately pushing it through the plug through passage in a partition.
4. Pass a tip of a new cable throughout the plug through passage in a partition and involve assembly in a motive compartment for a wire through a partition in a motive compartment, having held on its end to a cowl lock latch.
5. You make further assembly as it should be, the return to a dismantle order.
