Removal and installation of the fuel pump
REMOVAL
|
|
|
1. Dump pressure in a power supply system (see the Section Dropping Pressure in a power supply system) and uncover a jellied mouth of the fuel tank.
2. Remove a back seat (see the Head Kuzov).
|
|
3. Uncover access to assembly of the fuel pump / sensor of fuel consumption. Disconnect an electrical wiring from assembly and take a plait aside. |
|
|
4. Disconnect from assembly of the line of giving and return of fuel, turn out fixing screws. On models since 1995 give to the issue a lock ring. |
|
|
Models 1993 and 1994 of of the issue.
|
|
|
|
1. Accurately take assembly of a gasoline pump with fuel consumption sensor from the fuel tank.
|
|
Try not to damage a float and not to bend its lever. |
|
|
|
2. Having accurately hooked, remove the mesh filter of a toplivozabornik of a gasoline pump. |
|
|
3. Release a coupling bolt of a fixing collar of assembly. |
|
|
4. Release the lower collar of fastening of a fuel hose, disconnect an electrical wiring and release the pump from the bearing assembly arm. |
|
|
Models since 1995 of the issue.
|
|
|
|
1. Accurately release assembly of the sensor of fuel consumption from the fuel tank, having lifted it as it is possible above. |
|
|
2. Shift a fixing collar down and disconnect a hose from the union from the lower party of a cover. |
|
|
3. Disconnect an electrical wiring of the fuel pump from a cover. |
4. Take assembly of the sensor of fuel consumption with a cover aside.
|
|
Try not to damage a float and not to bend its lever. |
|
|
5. Having pushed a hand in the fuel tank through an access opening, release a clamp of fastening of a casing of a gasoline pump and take assembly of the last of a tank. |
6. Having accurately hooked, remove the mesh filter of a toplivozabornik from the pump. Check the filter for existence of signs of pollution and violation of passability. Disconnect a hose from the final union of the pump.
7. Wring out lock uvulas and dismember a casing of pump assembly on two half. Take the pump from a casing. |

INSTALLATION
|
|
|
1. Assembly is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.
2. Do not forget to smooth out the interfaced surface of a landing flange of assembly and a flute under installation of a sealing ring on a gasoline tank.
3. Having replaced a sealing ring, fill assembly in a tank.
4. Track order of connection of fuel lines and their orientations relatively of assembly and a tank. Strongly tighten fixing screws.
5. Restore initial connection of an electrical wiring, establish into place a cover of access to assembly and a back seat. |
