Removal and installation of the main cylinder of coupling

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The design of the main hydraulic cylinder of coupling is presented on an illustration.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

 If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

3. Under the dashboard take a fixing pin and disconnect a cutting finger of a pusher of the main hydraulic cylinder from the coupling pedal lever.

4. Remove the pump of the device of automatic control of the speed (ASCD). Disconnect from assembly of the main cylinder of coupling the hydraulic line, - in order to avoid a rounding off of shlits of a nut, it is reasonable to make weakening of nipple knot by means of a special cap key with a cutting head. Prepare rags for collecting the spilled hydraulic liquid.

 In order to avoid damage of a paint and varnish covering do not allow hit of brake fluid on the painted body surfaces.

5. Give nuts of fastening of the main cylinder on a back partition of a motive compartment. Remove Assembly of the main cylinder (try not to spill brake fluid).

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Start assembly of the main cylinder on the regular place and fix it by nuts, having by hand tightened the last.
2. Connect the hydraulic line to the main cylinder, - try not to warp a cap nut of the nipple socket in order to avoid irreversible damage of the last owing to failure of a carving.
3. Strongly tighten fixing nuts and the union of the hydraulic line.
4. Connect a cylinder pusher to a pedal of coupling and record a new pin a cutting finger.
5. Fill in in the tank necessary amount of the DOT 3 brake fluid (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance), then give from a path air traffic jams (see the Section Removal of Air from a hydraulic path of the drive of switching off of coupling).
6. Check correctness of installations of height and a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see the Section Adjustment of a Pedal of Coupling).
