Check of serviceability of functioning and replacement of switches of the dashboard

 The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid getting injured at its casual operation. It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation.

The switches which are built in in the panel of facing of a combination of devices

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect SRS. In the panel of facing of a combination of devices several switches are built in. To the left of a steering column switches of management of functioning of the electric drive of rear-view mirrors, the main switch of a tempostat (On/off), and also (are located at the corresponding complete set of the car) a control lamp of anticreeping system and the switch of fog lighting. To the right of a steering column are the handle of adjustment of intensity of illumination of devices and on models 1993 and 1994 of of the issue) the switch of the alarm system. On models since 1995 the switch of the alarm system is placed by the issue in the central part of the panel.

2. Each of switches can be removed from the forward party of the panel by a poddevaniye by the screw-driver. Remark: In order to avoid damage of the panel wind a screw-driver sting with an adhesive tape. Simple switches, such as the switch of fog lighting, have to show conductivity between plugs of the 2-contact socket only at the included ignition. Between plugs of the 3-contact switch of management intensity of illumination of devices conductivity has to take place in any position of the ignition key, except OFF.

3. Having released the switch from the panel, disconnect from it an electrical wiring.
4. Check correctness of distribution of conductivity between socket plugs. Replace faulty assemblies.

Switches of the central facing section of the dashboard

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect SRS. On the central facing section of the dashboard there are a switch of the alarm system, hours and the switch of heating of back glass (model since 1995 of the issue).
2. Remove the facing panel (see the Head Kuzov).

3. Having separated facing section from the dashboard, disconnect the electrical wiring brought to the components which are built in in it. Components fasten to the panel by means of screws. Check can be carried out without removal of elements.
