Removal and installation of a control lever of a forward suspension bracket

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Weaken nuts of fastening of the corresponding forward wheel. A car front also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Remove a wheel.
2. Disconnect a rack of the stabilizer of cross stability from a control lever (see the Section Removal and installation of the forward stabilizer of cross stability). On models 1993 and 1994 of of the issue remove a stabilizer bar (see in the same place).

3. On models 1993 and 1994 of of the issue you otboltit a spherical support from a suspension bracket control lever. On models since 1995 of the issue take the forelock and weaken a nut of fastening of a spherical finger. By means of a special bifurcate stripper release a sharovy finger from assembly of a rotary fist.

 In the course of release of a spherical finger the protective cover of a support will be almost for certain damaged. Separate the lever from assembly of a rotary fist.

4. If the control lever of a suspension bracket needs replacement, weaken a nut of a finger of the plug of lever assembly. Turn out plug finger bolts.

5. Turn out bolts of fastening of the holder of the plug, then remove a control lever. On models 1993 and 1994 of of the issue in case of need take off a lever kerchief.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Estimate a condition of forward and back rubber plugs of a control lever, - the worn-out and cracked components are subject to replacement. Installation of new plugs has to be made in the conditions of a workshop of car service, otherwise it is necessary to replace the lever assembled.
2. Check the lever case for existence of signs of deformations. The damaged lever is not subject to restoration and has to be replaced.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made upside-down. Track that all fixture was tightened with the required effort.

 Tightening of bolts of a finger of the plug and the holder of the forward plug (and also lever kerchiefs on models 1993 and 1994 of of the issue) has to be made strictly in a certain order. Before final tightening of bolts of the holder or a nut of a finger prop up the external end of the lever a jack for the purpose of introduction it on normal working height. Do not forget to replace the forelock of fixing of a nut of a spherical finger.
