Assembly of a head of cylinders

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Regardless of that, the head went to a workshop for carrying out service of valves, or not before starting its assembly, carefully double-check purity of all components.
2. After return of a head from a workshop in it valves with the accompanying components will be already installed. In this case it is necessary to lower procedures of the following two paragraphs and at once to pass to the actions described in paragraph 5.
3. Oil cores of valves liquid and fill them in the guides of the plug. Establish saddles of valvate springs.

On SOHC engines for each of valvate springs (internal and external) the separate saddle is provided. At first the saddle of an external spring has to be established, then - internal. Through cores of valves put new maslootrazhatelny caps on the directing plugs.

On DOHC engines maslootrazhatelny caps "are put" on the guides of the plug by a careful zastukivaniye by the hammer through a special mandrel or a face head of the suitable size. On SOHC engines for landing of caps of inlet valves it is necessary to use special adaptation, caps of final valves can be put manually. Track that caps were not overwound on plugs.

4. Establish a valvate spring(s) and its plate on a core. The special tool squeeze springs, having lowered a plate, then establish in the opened top flute on a valve core crackers of the cutting lock. For the purpose of temporary fixing of crackers to an otpuskaniye of the tool grease them from the inside with dense lubricant. Slowly release a spring(s) and make sure of reliability of landing of crackers.

On SOHC engines each valve is equipped with two springs. At first it is necessary to enclose an internal spring in external, then the set in assembly is put on the valve. On all engines of a spring are established by an end face with the reduced step of rounds to a head.

5. On DOHC engines establish into place pushers of valves and camshafts.
6. On SOHC engines install camshafts, assembly of the directing pushers and a yoke with axes.
7. Track that removed from a head the old components which are subject to further use were installed strictly on the former places.
