Nissan Maxima QX

1. Take off a decorative cap of a disk or a cover of a stupichny nut. Take the forelock and wring out a tag of a lock washer, then weaken a stupichny nut (see the Head Stsepleniye and power shafts).

If the face head does not pass in an opening in the center of a wheel, temporarily install to the place of the last the spare wheel.

2. Weaken nuts of fastening of a wheel, a front of the car and establish to a poddomkratta it on props. Remove a wheel.
3. Remove a support of the brake mechanism and a brake disk (see the Head the Brake system). Release a brake hose from an arm on rack-mount assembly. On the equipped ABS models disconnect an electrical wiring and remove the wheel sensor.
4. Give nuts of fastening of a rack of a suspension bracket to a rotary fist, however, do not beat out still fixing bolts.
5. Release from the lever of a rotary fist a tip of steering draft (see the Section Removal and installation of tips of steering drafts).
6. Release a spherical support from assembly of a rotary fist (see the Section Removal and installation of a control lever of a forward suspension bracket).
7. Beat out fixing bolts and separate a rotary fist from rack-mount assembly, at the same time pushing out a pin of a power shaft from a wheel nave (if the shaft "stuck", use the hammer and a brass drift). Tie up the released power shaft a wire to suspension bracket elements.

1. Grease vents of a pin of a power shaft with universal lubricant. Start assembly of a rotary fist on the regular place, pass a pin of a power shaft throughout a nave.
2. Fill a fist in a rack flange, pass bolts, then screw, but do not tighten, fixing nuts.
3. Connect a suspension bracket control lever to a rotary fist (see the Section Removal and installation of a control lever of a forward suspension bracket).
4. Fill in the fist lever a tip of steering draft (see the Section Removal and installation of tips of steering drafts). Tighten with the required effort of a nut of bolts of fastening of a rack, and also support fixture to the lever and a draft tip nut.
5. Install on a nave a brake disk and other components of the brake mechanism (see the Head the Brake system).
6. Screw a stupichny nut and tighten it strongly, but it is not final yet.
7. Establish a wheel. Lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel nuts with the required effort (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
8. Finally tighten a stupichny nut with the required effort, do not forget to record it the new forelock (see the Head Stsepleniye and power shafts).
